Couldn't go inside 💠 the church as it was closed on my arrival but it looked fantastic from outside. Very Nicely crafted exterior. They have Sunday services. Present in busy area so parking can be an issue. Church is walkable from major places like port authority bus terminal and times square. Added a video for quick view. Thanks 🙏👍

Gothic-style church. Very well preserved interior and beautiful maintained seating area. Allowed for tourists after the quick bag search. The church event schedule is published on their website. Also, other services offered are also on the website. The cermonies are live streamed, and you can watch from the link published on the website.

I visited here twice during the holidays. A mid-day Eucharist service in a small chapel for all seven of us in attendance was a fine time out from the festive energy of NYC at Christmas. We returned also for a Blessing of the Creche,. This came across as a bit like a cantata centered around the story found in Luke's gospel. The program was most endearing with children, animals. and costumes. The church itself is a venerable gothic structure worthy of careful attention. All these grand churches are best experienced as a church rather than a tourist stop. It deserves way more than a three minute peek and a phone shot of the ceiling. The rector was most hospitable.

I would highly recommend visiting St.Thomas church. The architecture and stained glass are beautiful! I would argue it’s better than St. Patrick’s, and there are far less people here.

In renovation but still open to the public. Surprised to learn about the existence of Our Lady of 5th Ave.

Saint Thomas is a spiritual, magical, choral service with solid dialogue inspiration, enjoyed by streaming through television, Chromebook, and iPad for the service bulletin. Amazing what tech can do to bring Saint Thomas into the living room.
